Aggies All The Way

It was a lot of fun to attend a couple of Aggie Games this season. I miss it so much!  I was only able to catch three games, one with James, one with Becca, and one was all 3 of us.  I wish I had more pictures of the game James and I went to.  It was Spectrum Magic night and all of the students had T-shirts in the colors of the Spectrum chairs.  It was seriously crazy fun.

The very last home game was especially epic.  We got to chant "up by 30" for the first time in years, there was an alumni reunion so it was fun to see Tai Wesley (who is a superstar in the Australia and NZ BBall scene), Spencer Nelson (who is now an Aggie assistant coach), and Brady Jardine.  Before the game I went to chat with Mike and Juanita, and former legendary coach Stew Morrill came by and said "Hi Jill" and proceeded to converse with me asking how I was, complementing my shirt, etc. I was basically in shock and awe and can't get over it!  #lifegoals.

I was also happy to catch my favorite half-time show of the Dancing Grandmas!!  I love being an Aggie.

Go Jazz!

Remember how I won tickets to the Jazz game at my ward Christmas party?  Well they day finally came to see that game and those tickets didn't disappoint!

9th row.  I have never sat that close at a professional game and it was amazing.  Melissa and I had such a great time watching a close game and cheering as the Jazz pulled ahead to victory.  There were cute tiny dancing bears, and a few rows in front of us we saw Julianne Hough and Derek Hough with their family.  I got to see Gordon Hayward up close, and watch the lighting of the official Utah Jazz Menorah.  It was just a lot of fun.

STEWWWWWWWWWWW!

Saying farewell to Stew was hard.  I can't even imagine watching an Aggie basketball game without him. It's just too weird.  For years I have celebrated my birthday with my USU friends at the final home game.  Glad I could be there for Stew's last game and to run into so many old friends.  Highlights included some of my favorite boys from college re-making the Stew look-alike contest, meeting Sean Harris, the return of Wild Bill as a peacock, and watching my favorite Big Blue in his final home game.  (Thanks to the Utah Statesman, Desnews, Laura, and Adam for the supplemental pictures).  Wish we had a different outcome, but proud of how well the Aggies handles that level of pressure.  Once an Aggie always an Aggie.  Thank you Stew for the memories.

Utah State's official Facebook page featured a picture of my friends and a poster I had made about Stew!  So for a fun flashback here are the original pictures as well as some other fun game day stuff over the years, including the time Stew took a picture with me for my birthday. I have thousands of Aggie gameday pics and I wish I could share them all but I chose some featuring the people I spent Stew's last game with, from over the years....
